Antidote for Fear
At least one out five people in our country has been diagnosed with a mental illness. Have you noticed that at the heart of many of our mental disorders lies the root of fear? While fear serves a valuable purpose, many of us dwell in fear—as in disorders like anxiety, insomnia, and chronic worry.
We may not get diagnosed with a mental illness, but many of us will live lives that are shackled, with voices that are silenced, and the purpose of God for putting us on this earth forever thwarted—all because we let fear rule.
We have all gone through experiences that cause us to have disabling emotions. We are all tempted to give into fear and we each have a choice of what we will do with that fear. Choose to hope in the word of God. His love can heal your mind ”because perfect love casts out fear”.
